Josh's Wedding

Josh and Lena were married at the Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR on July 12th. It was GORGEOUS! The reception was fun but I wish I could have drank. We left Carter at Grandma Donna's. The teeny baby is my niece Hutson Grace and she is sooooo beautiful!!! Ill post more later. I dont have much time for these things in Arkansas. XOXOX

Pictures of Carter climbing. The last picture is of Carter having a terrible hair day! I got him up from his nap and was astonished at the mess on his head. I wonder if this is what I will be looking forward to with his double crown.

I am doing well, no morning sickness and my energy is up a little. I have two doctors appointments this week which I think it ridiculous.

I cant wait to come to Arkansas to see everyone! YAY! I miss ya'll!

Carter-Of course

Ok, everyone thinks their child is the cutest in the world. I, however, tend to lean a bit towards realism. Someone has once commented that Carter's head is big and now I totally agree, he has a huge head and what I call a monkey nose that his daddy had at his age too. And Im the first to say the kid was a total wreck when he was born and I was absolutely mortified.

But, today we had two people tell us not only that our child is cute but should be in 'modeling'. Modeling--Just thinking of him doing that and I feel like a stage mother.

We got his 1 year pics done today and our photographer said of all the babies she has photographed he is special and should "model" because he is cute and has a wonderful demeanor. Then Clifton's friend who rarely speaks at all insists that we have a "good lookin' kid" and should be "making money off of him".

So, now Im like hmmm, maybe my baby is abnormally cute and Im underestimating his cuteness? Is it a disservice to NOT try? Or should I just assume people are just being nice and ignore these suggestions?

Either way, I feel disgustingly guilty for writing this because I feel like Im 'that mom' who is bragging but really, Im not. Im actually a bit in shock. Either way, I cant wait to see his 1 yr pics. They put him in a 1950 ish blue truck...Ive been waiting a year for that pic!

This and That

We are all doing well. Carter has been more brave about climbing HIGH and walking. We are getting ready for our trip to Arkansas. I suck at packing myself and it super sucks packing up a kid too. Cant wait to see what 2 children has in store for our packing skills.

Ive started working out daily so that hopefully it isnt so hard on me this time being fat AND pregnant.

We have the last series of pics at the studio for Carter's 1 year birthday on Thursday. Okay, I'm late but since I was late every other time, I'm really on time right? They asked if I wanted him with a birthday cake and I said no. Does that make me a bad mom? I have TONS of those anyway. Carter has been very irreverent about picture taking lately. I hope it goes well.
