Good Morning!

This is our routine every time he wakes up in the morning or nap times. He gives me his binky, in this case somehow he had two and grabs his monkey. Its so dark, sorry! We need a real camcorder.

Here he was 'helping' daddy in his new room.

For Adaleigh...Adalie...Adalee...Adely... Addely...Adelie....

We have NO idea how we want to spell her name! We will stick with Addie for now. Any suggestions? Mom wants Adaleigh because her middle name is leigh. I just want the simplest spelling possible. We came up with over 20 spellings for that name, which by the way means noble one and is a form of Adelaide. I didnt just make it up.

Carter is a Brat

Carter is being a total brat by not wanting to get out of the dryer he climbed into while I was doing laundry. He wouldnt mind me when I told him to get out so I had to literally drag him out crying after I turned the camera off. Enjoy...more than I did!

ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!

YAY! It was totally 100% a girl! When the sono lady told me, I screamed and sat up and hugged her. After realizing what I did, it was embarrassing. We are so happy to have our version of a complete family!

What Does a 15 Month Old Do All Day?

What has Carter been up to you might ask yourself...or maybe you DONT ask yourself. Anyway, I will tell you. He sits on poor, blind and old Andy while Andy barely musters up a growl. He stuffs his beloved Monkey in his bus and takes him for rides. He climbs into his old swing in the storage room OVER and OVER then fusses to be let out. He also wears a drum on his head. I didnt take a picture of him climbing on the pub table because that would definitely make you all question my parenting abilities and his super human climbing capabilities. He also spills the dog water, climbs in the breakfast nook-gets stuck between it and the kitchen table. He got one door knob open and POSSIBLY digested a teeny piece of styrofoam. That is the life of a 15 month old---or mine anyway.

Jelly Bean is Making its First Poopie!

Fetal development in pregnancy
Week 19: fetus in fifth month Your amazing little baby is now around 10 inches in length! If this seems a bit shocking, you’ll be relieved to know they’ve not actually grown over 3 inches, but that their little legs are now straight enough to be measured. This is when doctors begin measuring fetal growth from head to toe, (no longer “crown to rump” or CR). Lanugo (little hairs) covers their whole body now, trapping that charming cheese-like vernix caseosa (see week 18) to the surface to the skin. This week your lil’ fetus will start on an appetizing diet of amniotic fluid which they are now capable of swallowing, digesting, and passing the fluid as far as their tiny “large” intestines. Fortunately for you, this nice little lump of baby-poop won’t be coming out while they’re still in your womb. Some time shortly after they’re born, this fun lump will become the first in a long line of baby poops. (What finally comes out— commonly known as “meconium” to the science world, will be black and sticky, and you’ll be very glad it happens only once!)

By pregnancy 19 weeks your baby's brain is also forming pockets to specialize in smell, taste, hearing, vision and even touch. By pregnancy week 19 if you are having a girl she already has produced six million eggs in her ovaries, though this number will decrease by 4 million by the time your newborn baby is born.<<<---WE HOPE!!! We will see next week!
